who we are

Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. We are an inter-denominational Christian organization on college campuses across the world. We exist to help people explore and enter into a relationship with God, grow as disciples of Jesus, and teach others to do the same.

Whether you are checking out Jesus for the first time and have lots of questions, wanting to find a community of people who will help you grow, or looking for a way to reach out to others with God’s love, we would love to be a part of your spiritual journey!

What We Do

Weekly Meeting

Tuesdays – 7:30pm
Anishinaabe Theater (Memorial Union 2nd Floor)

The Weekly Meeting is a great place where we gather together to meet people in Cru, explore Christianity, and worship God together as we learn from speakers about what the Bible teaches and discuss how it intersects with our lives.

Community Groups

We also have smaller Community Groups that meet throughout the week where we seek to build authentic, lasting relationships as we read and discuss the Bible together, pray for one another, and grow in community with each other. Mentoring and Discipleship

We provide opportunities for mentoring and discipleship, where we are able to dig into the grit of life and walk well alongside one another as we seek to follow Jesus in all aspects of our lives.

Events and Retreats

We host various events and socials, these are great places to meet someone new, have fun together, and serve our community (keep in eye on Instagram or the Calendar for details). We have conferences and retreats throughout the year (Fall Retreat, Winter Conference, etc.) which are an opportunity to step away from the normal rhythms of life. We also offer the ability to invest your breaks in growing spiritually and serving others through one-week trips as well as options over the Summer.

Cru is not a church. We highly encourage students involved in our movement to get plugged in with one of the many awesome local churches in our area.
